Choose desktop or command line
For a graphical computer, get the x64 AppImage or amd64 Debian package from Download. The manifest currently lists both at 0.0.52 and marks Linux unsigned.
Run the AppImage from its download directory:
chmod +x clout-browser-0.0.52-x86_64.AppImage
./clout-browser-0.0.52-x86_64.AppImageOr install the Debian package:
sudo apt install ./clout-browser-0.0.52-amd64.debUse a graphical session for the desktop. On a server without one, start with the cloutctl installation and Linux display setup.
Prepare one desktop profile
- Use Sign in with your browser; finish the portal tab while Clout stays open.
- Follow First-time setup, or press Create from Profiles.
- Set the proxy, press Check proxy, and review the generated identity.
- Save one profile and press Start. Let its required engine download finish.
- Close the browser when finished and let any account upload settle.
Ctrl+Enter starts selected profiles; Ctrl+Shift+Enter stops them. Ctrl+, opens Settings.
Prepare one server profile
Install the CLI bundle with Node 24 or later. Join the account with an owner-generated device token through stdin, then use:
cloutctl auth status
cloutctl system doctor
cloutctl kernel status --for-fleet
cloutctl kernel install --for-fleet
cloutctl profile list --json
cloutctl run launch --id "$PROFILE_ID"
cloutctl run stop --id "$PROFILE_ID"Set PROFILE_ID to an ID returned by the list. Use the shared service for the common launch queue and sync loop. A fingerprint pin with no published package for this machine cannot be fixed by repeatedly downloading another major.
