macOS quick start

Install Clout Browser and open your first profile on macOS.

Install the desktop

Get the universal DMG from Download. The manifest currently lists Clout-Browser-0.0.52-universal.dmg for both Apple silicon and Intel, and marks it signed.

Open the DMG, copy Clout Browser into Applications, then open the app there. Keep it open while you use Sign in with your browser. If you do not have an account, talk to us.

Prepare one profile

  1. Finish First-time setup, or return to Profiles.
  2. Press Create and name the profile.
  3. In Proxy, enter your connection and press Check proxy.
  4. Review the Identity panel; leave Profiles to create at 1.
  5. Choose Save to my account if it should reach other computers, then Create profile.
  6. Press Start on its row. A missing published SunBrowser engine downloads before launch continues.
  7. Close the browser when finished and let any account upload settle.

Command+Enter starts selected profiles; Command+Shift+Enter stops them. Command+, opens Settings. Creating profiles covers every form tab.

Add an agent later

Open MCP & Local API, enable the server and copy your client’s generated setup. The app computes its own installation path. Read MCP before giving an agent permission to operate a signed-in profile.
