Troubleshooting and FAQ
Resolve invitation, reference, training, generation, posting and connection problems without duplicating work.
On this page
Start with the screen’s error and the affected record. Check the active workspace, Creator, job or post before retrying. A browser interruption does not necessarily stop server work.
I can sign in but cannot enter Studio
If the page says You're signed in and asks for an invite, use the Studio invitation and Open invite. Studio access is invite only. An account for another Clout product is not, by itself, Studio admission.
If you can read but cannot create, check your workspace role. The backend error “viewers can look but not change anything in this team” means the selected workspace sees you as a viewer.
Creator setup did not finish
The Creator can already have been created even if a later reference step failed. Use Finish reference setup or Open creator. Do not immediately create another record.
“That creator already exists. Choose another name.” means the normalized name is taken. Check name normalization.
“Could not read the photos” means the identity-reading step failed. Inspect the source photos and use Try again. Replace unclear or unsuitable photos before asking Studio to read them again.
A reference says Needs refresh
A source change can invalidate a derived reference. Regenerate the stale reference and review it before dataset generation.
If replacing a reference is blocked by an active run, let it finish or stop the run. The backend says “wait for the active run to finish before replacing references”.
Train is unavailable or training failed
The working dataset needs at least 10 approved images. Check New renders, pending work and active runs before training.
“The last training did not complete. Nothing was published — try again.” means no new version was published. An earlier version remains available. Reopen the training screen, read the failure and verify the dataset before another paid attempt.
Mirage v0 cannot generate
Mirage v0 needs a published compatible LoRA. Choose LoRA vN for the correct Creator. References alone do not satisfy that requirement.
“Select an available trained version.” means the composer has no usable selected version. If version loading failed, use Retry rather than treating it as a Creator with no versions.
A prompt or upload is rejected
| Input | Verified limit |
|---|---|
| Image prompt | 32,000 characters. |
| Images per generation request | 1–8. |
| Composer reference attachments | Four, each at most 25 MB. |
| Dataset upload | 40 MB per image. |
| Carousel Studio idea/image slide choices | Auto, 3, 4, 6, 8 or 10 in the start dialog. |
| Explore upload | Up to 30 files; 512 MB per file. |
| Source video | At most 120 seconds. |
| Thread title | 160 characters. |
A file named as an image still needs to decode as one. “not an image” is a media validation error. “an attachment is at most 25 MB” is the composer upload limit, not the dataset limit.
The result’s likeness or pose is wrong
Check the selected Creator and identity mode first. Inspect the shared references, then compare the output at full size. For a LoRA, try another published version if you have one.
For direct-reference models, check the displayed image order and your prompt’s Image N references. For Mirage v0 pose guidance, ensure the first attachment is the pose you intended and that depth guidance is enabled.
Use a smaller controlled comparison before launching a large batch. Review image settings and the training dataset rather than assuming a higher output count will correct identity.
Credits are held but the work is not finished
Held means credits are reserved. Reopen the job or run to inspect its status. On settlement, Studio charges the completed work against the hold and releases unused credits.
“Not enough credits” requires available credits, not merely a balance already held for other jobs. Check Billing & plans. A concurrent generation limit requires waiting for existing jobs or changing the plan; buying credits alone does not necessarily change that limit.
A video request is rejected
Check source length, dialogue classification and the selected workflow. SCAIL needs a source and is not the dialogue route.
“Unsupported model, quality or format combination” means the chosen settings do not fit that model. “Output is too short for this source; increase duration or trim the source” tells you to change duration or trim. See video limits.
A post did not go out
Open the calendar record and read its status. Due — post it by hand requires you to publish manually. Did not go out is a failure to inspect, not a completed post.
Check the account’s Creator assignment, connection, supported media and timezone. Reconnect if authorization has expired. Use Try again now after correcting the cause. If you post manually, use Mark as posted to record that action.
Drive or an assistant stopped working
For Drive, inspect the connected identity, root folder and delivery error. Use Test, reconnect when needed and choose a folder Studio can access.
For MCP, check the connected team and whether the connection was disconnected. The connection remains pinned to the workspace originally authorized. Removing your membership can invalidate access; connect again only to a workspace you can still access.
Auto captions is unavailable
Open Captions → Language and audio. If transcription is switched off, the server is not configured for paid transcription. If word effects are unavailable, check whether the captions have word timing; sentence timing is not enough. See Auto captions.
A carousel export is missing a slide
Open Carousel Studio and compare the ready count with the total. Export leaves out slides that have no finished image. Resolve failed or still-running slides and check the numbered export thumbnails before sending again.
Common questions
Do I need training before I can make images?
No. Use References · no LoRA with a compatible reference model. Mirage v0 requires a trained LoRA.
Does editing the dataset change a live version?
No. It changes the working set for future training. Existing published versions remain available.
Does Carousel Studio make finished slides?
Yes. Make the carousel or Make N slides starts production. Review takes in Slide, the sequence in Set, and export only after checking the ready count.
Can an assistant create or publish for me through MCP?
No. The hosted MCP tools are read-only. They cannot start paid work or modify content.
Can I leave a running job’s page?
Dataset generation, training and queued server work can continue. Reopen the existing record to check progress before submitting another job.
Where are prices and allowances?
Studio VIP is priced on request. Talk to us, then check Account → Billing & plans for your workspace’s offer.
